The first time the “Lima Bar Show 2008”, took place in Peru. unprecedented event that took as its basis the sophisticated productions of the great cities of Europe and brought together the best professionals and amateurs to the world of spirits as Barmans, Food & Beverage Managers, buyers, trade professionals, producers, distributors, including others.
This important event developed in the Country Club Lima Hotel, aimed to enhance the skills of production and distillation, to publicize the new trends taking place in the world, as well as help with the positioning of Peru as a country |

which is also at the forefront of the cocktail and the world's Bar.
The event featured the participation of international experts: Jürgen Deibel (Germany), Barbara Van Hoort (Netherlands) and James Paita (USA). While Peru was recognized by the producers of Pisco as Julio Sotelo, president of the Association of Producers of pisco and wine of Ica - APROPICA, who commented about our drink flag.
In the two-days event with Conferences, was presented topics from the origins and processes of distillates, sensory analysis of more than 20 products and information on the latest consumer trends. In this respect, Jürgen Deibel indicated that the distillate of increased consumption worldwide is the vodka, followed by Soju and Cachasa. "I hope that in a short time PISCO is located in an excellent position within this category, for all Peruvians of pride and for the satisfaction the most demanding palate"
In the event, also took place the "Sofa Knowledge" where for the first time, brought together the five associations of Pisco producing regions of the country, as well as experts from Ron, Wiskyi, Tequila and Cognac, to expose the sensory analysis of each product, resolve concerns of the audience and make known its many possibilities in the cocktail.
James Paita the Bar Chef, who displayed all his skills, making presentations to various cocktail, marking the style of today, coming from the major cosmopolitan cities. Bar Chef is a new trend that uses the techniques of cuisine in the cocktail.
Lima Bar Show, was organized by Impulse Corp., a company of Marketing and Alternative Communication and the German firm of consulting Deibel Consultants, with the sponsorship of Vivanda and collaboration of the Institute of Wine and Pisco (IDVIP), CITEVID, CONAPISCO and the Country Club Lima Hotel. |
